Biodiversity  can be measured at
   three levels:
<Li> genetic   diversity:   genetic   variation   within   and  between
populations
<Li> species diversity: diversity of species in an ecosystem
<Li> ecosystem  diversity: variety of communities and ecosystems in the
biome or biosphere

   Species  diversity  can  be  measured  by  both  species  richness and
   relative abundance. 1
